Greetings. My name is Kris Fremo and I am the owner and operator of Sunny Day Pictures. I wish I could say that I was born with a camera in my hand, but I got my start in the art world doing more traditional art. I picked up the camera in college by accident in order to complete my undergraduate degree in art and education. My career began in the darkroom and I have had my share of traditional analog training.

I now hold a master's degree in digital photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I have been teaching art, and more specifically photography, for 18 years. All of the meticulous habits formed while working with analog film and my experiences teaching students every day make my digital experience more dynamic. Having a foot in the academic world of art as well as the creative and commercial world is a perfect balance, keeping things fresh and exciting.

My specialty is location portraiture. Sunny Day Pictures is located on five acres of beautiful woodland and a picturesque pond. I particularly love to shoot on location, both indoors and outdoors because of the challenge it brings. Working with light to create beautiful imagery in is like magic to me. I enjoy working with clients in their favorite places and during some of the most memorable moments of their lives in order to capture them at their best.
